I uninstalled Wasteland 2 (because the patches wouldn't apply).

I downloaded the full game (v2.0), the v2.1 patch and the v2.2 patch.

I installed the game. Then I applied the v2.1 patch.

When I attempt to apply the v2.2 hotfix, it says it doesn't support my version of the game, please download a new installer.

I have to say, I'm less than impressed with GOG at this point. I've had nothing but problems keeping both Wasteland 2 and Divinity: Original Sin up to date.

That's odd. I downloaded everything from this game yesterday or the day before, including all patches, and then installed it. The massive size of the patch confused me a little, also that the tiny last one took so long to install, but they all worked and got installed as probably intended.

Edit: Looking at your screenshot again, you don't appear to have the 2.2 patch. It's massive, around 1.5GB. The small hotfix is probably intended to be laid on top of this 2.2 patch (confusingly named 2.1 on GOG). Try to download the big patch, install it, and see if the hotfix is more cooperative then.

That was the problem. For some reason I thought I had all the patches downloaded. Why does GOG re-version the numbers? Why not keep with the same patch version numbers as the developers?

opening this issue up - as only the version 3 and 3.1 patches are available to download in my Wasteland 2 add-ons here on GOG. I've contacted support in the hope they can give me a link to download the 2.2 patches and I can apply them, then apply the version 3 patches.

Why there isn't a cumulative patch is beyond me.
