Expect the first patch for Wasteland 2 in the next 24 hours...we will post the build notes. And yes save games will be fine.

Improved localization is part of the next update.
We will submit patches to GOG.com at the same time as Steam but due to time zone differences it may be a bit longer before they're implemented here (we do not put patches directly up on GOG.com, we send them in for them to apply).

And yes save games will be fine.

Phew!
Any chance for stability improvements on 32-bit systems? Loading Los Angeles map gives me more creeps than any fight so far :)

I'm afraid there is very little we can do improve the experience on 32-bit systems. The way they handle RAM really isn't something we can work around, other than to advise you to turn down graphics options (texture quality in particular) and turn off background programs.
Great! Haven't experienced any bugs yet. Knock on wood. You guys have built an awesome game. I love Divinity: OS but Wasteland 2 simply sucked me into it's world, and it's not because of nostalgia either, because I've never played the first game.
Will this patch sort out the many issues in Hollywood?

Guess that's the time to install 64-bit Mint then :)
Found (spoiler alert) some more problems during the game. I know it's too late for this patch if it wasn't reported yet, but maybe the next one? :)

Great! Let's see what is being fixed... I've seen more than a few bugs and really, a bug free experience is something to strive for. It makes gameplay a whole level better.

Thomas, I assume someone is often checking this thread for bug reports? (...as well as the thread @ the codex, official support form, etc)

Isn't there a bug tracker?

I am the only one who'd prefer a very slight change to the way weapon stripping works?,

Specifically...

> The choice to strip a weapon down to Broken Weapon Parts; 100% chance OR

> A second choice to strip a weapon down for mods i.e. Flashlight; 30% chance, Scope; 30% chance, Broken Weapon Parts; 40% chance

You can do this with a trick - don't confirm spending points into skill.
Have 30 points. If you need to get parts - put to 10, strip. If you need parts - put one.
I can't help but point out that Original Sin has patched at least three times since the launch of WL2. And had patches within a day or two of it's own release.

The support for this game has been mediocre at best...

(and don't accuse me of fanboyism, I've played roughly equal amounts of time with both so far. And I didn't fund OS unlike WL2)

I'd advise against installing the patch. They fudged it up.

Excessive patching is the worst thing that could happen - at least for the GoG release.

Look at all the confusion with D:OS installer versions, the patch breaking more than it fixed, etc

I'd take more comprehensive & tested patches every time over small increments - it's a shame they've botched this one up =\

You can not be serious. Three patches over the course of a week? That is not a good thing.

I could spin the story around and say that in the time Original Sin has recieved at least three patches, Wasteland 2 has not needed any hotfixes. BAM!
