I see that there is the deluxe version of WL2 and that it mainly comes with a few Novella's but I can't find much information on them.

Questions:
1) How long are they roughly?
2) Are they needed to understand characters in the game? (like their background stories) or are they standalone stories?
3) Are they good/worth it for the price?($20 as of now)

Book 1: 39 pages
Book 2: 64 pages
Book 3: 67 pages

That's the entire book, front, table of content, etc. included.

I haven't read them yet, so I can't answer your other questions.

All Bad Things - gives back story to the 2nd half of WL2, and the Ghost Books kinda retell WL1.

Have you read them? Are they any good?
