When will the patch for the Mac be released?

vicco: When will the patch for the Mac be released?
My impression is that 2.4.0 is actually the new version containing Patch 3? Maybe some folks from GOG can confirm this before I download 11 GB for nothing?
Info on my mac tells me I'm runnning 2.2.0.4 now, but I'm not sure how this relates to GOGs or Inxiles versioning (cause Inxile is calling the update "Wasteland 2 Patch 3 (59820)"
This is kind of confusing, it would be really helpful to have some kind of version history ...
My two cents as someone who's deciding right now whether to get this on Steam or from GOG: this patching situation is very frustrating to me. I've experienced it with other games: sometimes it's weird version numbers, sometimes it's missing update flags, sometimes it's weird inconsistencies between the different OS versions, and sometimes the developer doesn't even send in the patch until months have passed - if ever.

I hate to make the "standard customer threat", because at 190 games in my library, you're obviously on to something good here, but damn if you're not twisting my arm when it comes to this. I already prefer getting DRM-free games from Humble – their system, for all its faults, is at least clean and consistent, leaving everything up to the devs. I'm close to giving up and just accepting the Steam versions as the way to go when Humble is not a choice.

Again, I'm not saying this to excoriate you, just expressing how I honestly feel as a customer.

EDIT: And to be honest, the prospect of Galaxy doesn't help. I like this site precisely because I prefer the old-school, manual way of doing things – but even manual systems need to be well thought out. Even if I did choose to use that, I frankly don't expect it to be anywhere near Steam's level of reliability any time soon. This is a very unpleasant situation.

EDIT 5 DAYS LATER: Or maybe I and others are overreacting and should just learn to be a little more patient. Hell if I know anything. I just want this site to be the best it can be, because it's essentially the only one of its kind.

It seems to have worked for me.
I think I had
patch_wasteland2_2.1.0.10.exe
and
patch_wasteland2_2.2.0.11.exe

already installed on top of
setup_wasteland2_2.0.0.8.exe

now I Installed
patch_wasteland2_2.4.0.13.exe
and
patch_wasteland2_2.4.0.14.exe

were is #12??

Question is - and sorry to offend but I really can not help it:
Which love child creates the naming scheme of the patches? I have rarely seen something more sinister!

Patch 3 -> patch_wasteland2_2.1.0.10.exe

Please, get someone capable who does not rely on a crystal ball to manage the patches!

I love GoG, but patching with GoG ius a major PITA.
Haven't played Wasteland 2 since just after the first patch. Wanted to start playing again so I visited GOG today and saw that patch 4 was out. Cool, I thought! Ima get that!

So I get that. Soon enough, however, I find out that the patches aren't cumulative. Oh well, I thought. I'll just download them all and apply them in order. Ima do that!

So I do that. But I don't get very far. You see, patch 2 is nowhere to be found on the GOG web site. It looks like maybe it was rolled into the download for the base game? All I see are patch 3, 3.1, and 4. So to get patched up to the latest version of wasteland 2, I'm being forced to download the whole 9.5 gigs of the base game again?

I'm sorry, but no.

I got this game on GOG because I like the idea that I don't have to deal with DRM. But instead I have to deal with this patching nonsense.

As part of my reward for backing Wasteland 2 on Kickstarter, I received 2 digital copies of the game. I never intended to do anything with the second copy until today. As I write this, I am using my second Wasteland 2 key to download the game on Steam. Yes, it'll run under a DRM umbrella, but at least I'll be able to patch my game without having to download and reinstall the damn thing every time I want to update.

I hope that someone at GOG realizes the disservice they do their customers by treating them like this.
