I am running Wasteland 2 on Kubuntu 14.10 using the AMD proprietary drivers. My video is a Radeon HD 7750 with driver version 14.20 from the repo. I keep having issues with the game freezing up every few minutes and it is taking the whole system with it every time. I cannot seem to find any consistency to the freezing nor do I see any errors that would indicate the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I didn't have a single freeze in two playthrough using the free drivers (mesa) so maybe you can try with them ?

Else hum, did you try changing the graphical quality settings ? Do you have a 32-bits or 64-bits OS and with how many memory ? I heard there are some issues with low memory setups, but it should be at worst a crash of the game, not a freeze.

Does it freeze at random, or at specific times (when loading a new zone, ...) ?
