I'm running version 2.4.0.18 and am having a problem at the Rail Nomads. There is no way for me to save Ralphy. A Google search says that you have to knock over the pillars to save him. Well, when I get to him, both of the pillars are already knocked over, and I can't interact with either of them. So the stupid idiot just drowns.

Is there another way to save him? Maybe there's some rope somewhere I can use on him???

One pillar is too long and will kill him. Use them wisely... ;-)

I don't remember if there is additional action required (like clicking on pillar in a lake).

That's the thing though; the pillars are already knocked over when I get there. I can't even click on them. Very strange. Maybe a bug?

Sounds like a bug yes :s Do you have a savegame just before entering RNC and could you try from it ? If not or it's too long before, you should send your savegame to inXile support and see if they can help you.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I ended up going back to a previous save, and that seems to have solved it.
