where can I find uzi and NATO assaualt rifles?

Excluding shops:

Uzi: Ugly in Quartz has an Uzi, as does Christine (NPC) in Needles.

Assault rifle: Jerk Leader in the alley in Needles has an AK47. NATO's can be found in the Waste Pit in Needles, on the snipers in the Temple of Blood (Needles), and from the Bishop in Needles after you give him the bloodstaff.

I think there are also a bunch of good automatic weapons in the Police Station in Needles, but I wouldn't recommend attacking until you have automatic weapons in the first place!

I remember playing the game long, long ago on bootleg floppy if I recall correctly... I hadnt the slightest idea what I was doing but had poked around for hours and had a decent party. I wondered into the monastery and got into a fight with the monks. They of course slaughtered me but for whatever reason they could not kill my doctor. He was knocked out early on and revived by my medic i think. He then healed everyone and all the monk loot was mine. Including some mason guns. Ahh the sweet love of early game development.
