Hi,
I tried to play with a friend. And we can't find or join a session...

Coop beetween others plateform is it working ?

Thanks for advices guys
I tried doing a GOG/Steam coop session, but it didn't work.. I've tried every possible IP address ; nothing.
I did a little research for someone on another thread. It's supposed to work between pc platforms day one, but it looks like it's not working as of yet. I'd guess a patch will probably be coming early this next week. Hopefully it addresses this, since Co-op was a big sell on this game.

I agree, the co-op was a major feature for my purchase...

Let's see next week so... I dunno if some devs read GoG forums ^^

EDIT : someone on Steam forum give me this thread to try:

I didn't try yet....

Are you able to open the Lobby in the Gog version? My install just shows an Icon near the upper right of screen and I can move the mouse around but have to kill the task to get out of that screen.

I have not tried direct connection yet.
Yes it's working fine for me... I can navigate in some menus and can leave the lobby too.

Seems to be broken if not launched through GOG Galaxy (in my case). I normally do not use that service but if I launch the game with it the lobby works. (but at the time of writing this it said there were no hosted games. The list was empty.
We are able to play co-op, but only if we are both logged in to different GoG Galaxy accounts and play through the lobby. Direct IP connections don't work at all: one user connects to the other but neither can click the ready button and we can't launch. We're both on the same LAN so we're using our LAN IP to connect this way.

Also, a lot of the functions like "view profile" don't work, so I assume all their multiplayer development was done through Steam. Very disappointing, as we wanted to be able to play co-op without an active internet connection on our LAN.
Coop is pretty much broken ATM - i would wait if i were you ( that's what we decided to do ). In our 5hr session we encountered numerous bugs - some are actually really really annoying that prevent from having any fun with the game.
Ok, it's working with hamachi...
I played with a friend for over 20 hours by now. He had win 7 with lowest setting and I have a windows surface with max settings.

Advice:
- Have both an gog account with game installed.
- Ceck if youre both on same network.
- Deactive Firewall, set network to private.
- Start game and check for window messages.
- When game is started and youre not seeing your ingame name & pick on the right then you did something wrong.
- Play only via lobby game.

Ok game is starting...
- Save everytime before you zone. The game connection crashes about 50% of the time.
- After zoning check questlog and map. If fog of war is back & you have a clean quest log your whole progression is lost!
- Dont load a game from playing. Always start a new lobby (Loading game crashes).

Its really annoying to play Co-op right now. We cleared Warens and noticed that progression was gone. 3 hours "Wasted".

I recommend you wait a few weeks before playing.
