Seriously, can't you show detailed hit-chance when targeting an enemy, like in the XCOM games?
That's the most important part for me in a game like this, being able to see where all buffs/debuffs come from.
To be able to optimize distance with different weapons etc, see how much I gain from leadership/addons/flanking, or how much I loose from being to close with a sniper, of from the enemy being behind cover etc etc.
I watch that info all the time playing XCOM-games, can't believe any tactical game would skip that important part.

Anyone?

EDIT: In Wasteland 3 that is, if this forum is for all the games...

strange, i see my hit chance when targetting enemies in wasteland 3. I see what my hit chance changes depending on where i move, so i can move to the best most accurate location. etc. What game are you playing lol
Yeah, but the thing is, the game does not explain where that number came from.
The same, or rather worse, goes for damage. The game somewhat indicates possible damage on health bar, but if I suddenly one shot nearly 1,000 health enemy with a 60 base damage rifle, some explanation would be appropriate. Aside from a brief flicker and the fact the damage had to be more than 1,000, I do not even know what the gamage was, nevermind why.
Lack of combat output console is rather striking, given substantial swings up/down in hit-chance and damage.
well the trouble is, especially wiith wasteland 2 and 2 DC, is that the programmers computations and mechanics on numbers in the game, percentages, hit chances, skill chances, and other things are so far off even if they or a mod programmed it to show you those numbers, they wouldn't be correct.

many people long ago showed the bad and incorrect percentages and numbers in wasteland 2 and 2 DC, and probably a little in 3 also (though not even close as 2/dc were) so even if they showed you those numbers when targetting, they probably are as bad and as far off as the basic numbers they show for everything else.

Since the early times of playing the games many believed that those who programmed the numbers and mechanics didn't even compare of talk to those who did the graphics and showed the in-game stuff, who just guessed at what the numbers were suppose to be, or even just made up percentages. weapon parts that were suppose to drop 20% of the time on things dropped 70% of the time, skill checks that were suppose to happen 30% of the time happened 60, and so on. Literally people used the in-game code to check results after thousands of loops to show the off percentages.

So while it would be nice to see such info on targetting and such, we pretty much can guarantee that what ever you were seeing, wouldn't be correct. The only way it would be fixed is if someone did a mod to correct in-game percentages and visuals and actually used the game code to produce and see correct results instead of the incorrect stuff we are shown.
