Hello,
It seems that I have a problem since patch 3, because I can't play, when I launch the game, everything is fine, but it crashes as soon as I get into it. It started yesterday, I had a pretty big crash yesterday and after that my saved games couldn't be loaded (the load button was grey, and continue button was white but pressing it didn't do anything). I fiddled with the directory and now it wotks (again) but as soon as I am in the game, the fan of my GPU blow very hard and my computer freeze (black screen, have to do a hard reset).
I uninstalled the game and made a fresh install, but the problem stays the same. I tried other games, more, let's say, needy in terms of graphicalness (FFXIV, for example), and there was no sign of overheating.
I have a GeForce 470 and a Core i5 2400, 8GB ram, and windows seven.
Maybe it's not the patch, maybe it's something wrong with my computer... I hope not... Does anybody have the same problem ?
(english is not my main language, so please disregard grammatical errors and such)
thanks !
