I'm just wondering which file I download? I've purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition.

I've got the six part install files for the "Original game: Wasteland 2" (9.9 GB approx) and then I have the single "DLC: Wasteland 2 Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade" installer (9.6 GB).

Do I download both??? That seems like a pretty big install file... approaching 20 GB.

It's kind or ironic when there is a fat button in the right lower corner of the main menu:

"Red Boots DLC $49.99"
and after you click it it vanishes and there is a dialog box which says:
"You didn't thing we would sell, DLC, did you? [button: Of course not.]"

At that time you'd like to get some alcohol and make a toast to Brian Fargo, but it sticks right in your throat when you visit http://www.gog.com/game/wasteland_2_digital_deluxe_edition_upgrade

Game's GOTY material, though, and there are way less ingame exclusives than in other bigger productions (just a skill for KS-backers?), but they have talked the talk, the'd hav'ta do the walk.

Because it's content you can download. It's just not in-game content.

Why then write "You didn't thing we would sell, DLC.." in the game?
You people get it? I can do that all day long.
I think as well that the title "DLC: WASTELAND 2 DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION UPGRADE" is wrong. The "DLC:" prefix should be dropped, because that's a defacto slang for ingame content nowadays, as inxile sure knows because they did make that joke.

DLC is stuff like Point Looke or Old World Blues, or horse armor, that add to the game itself.

This isn't DLC in the sense that people usually use the term. By the definition they're using here, all the goodies would be DLC, which isn't what people usually mean.

Personally, I don't get what all the freaking out about DLC is. There's some really good DLC for FO3 and FO:NV and having something like that here would be a great way of tiding us over while they work on a sequel.

But, they've opted to commit to having no DLC, so that's not going to happen. Just fan made DLC. Which is apparently OK for reasons that escape me.
