They talked a lot about the game being modding friendly, but once we get our hands on it we find out they coded in .net. This means disassemble and reassembling code for minor stat re-balancing. Hopefully they can work a miracle and patch out the .net code or have the most robust modding tool available. Right now the game is less modifiable then most games.

What professional company codes inn Microsoft.net anyway. It's a fourth level coding for amateurs that do not know how to code. It's messy, performs terribly, and will never be optimized 100%. Although it does explain a lot about the state of the game.

I would have thought .net code wouldn't play nice wih Mac and Linux, so that makes me even more surprised to hear InXile used it.
