Hi there,

As a huge fan of post-apocaliptical set ups, I am considering buying Wasteland 2.

Actually, I can't figure the one I need to wishlist!
There is a Wasteland 2 Digital Classic Edition (I guess it's the base game?),
a Digital Deluxe Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition upgrade.

So, what's in? What's out? What's absolutely necessary? What's so special about the Deluxe editions and upgrade?

"Classic" is the game with small goodies. "Delux" is the same game with more goodies (soundtracks, novellas etc.). "Upgrade" is upgrade form Classic to Delux version.

If you're not interested in additional goodies then take Classic. If you want to show your support for developer then take Delux or upgrade to it later.

So, basically, the three packs have the same game. Classic it is then, I don't need goodies.

I'll just use this thread because I'm lost too. I want to get Wasteland 2 in the sale atm, but I'm unsure about the versions. As far as I can tell, the only difference now seems to be the novells for 5€ that are incldued in the Digital Deluxe, while the Digital Classic "only" has the other stuff, including the Soundtrack, the COncept Art and the game Key for Bards Tale and Wasteland 1.

Is there a misprint on the pages? Did I misread something? Or am I correct? If yes, are the novellas worth the 5€?

Digital deluxe also comes bundled with Wasteland 1 and The Bard's Tale game keys. Very nice bundle. Picked it up for $23 US.

Digital classic does not AFAIK.

So it seems ot be a typo, since it makes little sense putting that on the Digital Classic when its only for the Digital Deluxe.

Yeah, you do get Wasteland 1 with the Wasteland 2 Classic Edition, but you do not get Bard's Tale. Just to clear up any confusion if there is any. So if you buy the Wasteland 2 Classic Edition, you get Wasteland 1 for free with it.

I would personally buy the Classic edition if you don't care for extras that are digitized. You still get Wasteland 1 for free, so it's overall a better deal(as of right now).
