I backed the game on kickstarter (which I forgot until now, good thing I didn't re-buy it), and just picked gog.com as the place to get a key for, and added it.

But it added "Wasteland 2", which is a version the search doesn't even find, that finds 'Wasteland 2 classic digital edition' and a digital deluxe edition. After adding the game to my library, those versions still show unowned.

Why the secret hidden version? How do I know what it does or doesn't have compared to the other versions?

The version I added also showed a price of $19.99, while the other two are $20 and $40 more.

It has fewer extras, reflecting the Kickstarter tier you presumably pledged at.
