I have played about 91 hours on another pc without a problem.

Now I wanted to finish the game on my home pc. Unfortunately, the game somehow disrupts bluetooth sound connections. After starting up the game, my bluetooth headset stops playing all sounds.

My bluetooth headset still seems to be connected to the pc, so my best guess is that the game messes with the software/drivers somehow.

I tried looking for new drivers, patches etc. I reinstalled the bluetooth device. After that, the game would briefly play sound, but the sounds would be off... sounding like they come from a tin can and with cracking and stuff in the speakers of my headphone. I tried other audio tracks (songs etc.) and everything else plays fine. Although I have to add that I have to reset my headphones every time after opening the game.

The game doesn't allow selection of a speaker, only of a microphone. I wonder why that is. This seems completely stupid to me, bc this would probably fix the problem...

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Note: This is the only game where I had problems with the headphones so far, so the headphones are probably not the problem.

Apparently the game has had the same bug for more than 2 years and the developers still didn't fix it.
How shitty.

It sucks that GOG.com - like other big companies - is trying to fob off its customers on the support page with a crappy and useless "support bot" and hiding any support help in a way that you just can't find it.

And they are also so very much shitty that they don't even allow the link to the solution.
