It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I think it should be located here:

1) Use a web browser and go to gog.com and login.
2) Hover the mouse cursor over your username on the top bar, and click on "Games" from the drop down list. Search for your Wasteland 2 Director's Cut Digital Classic Edition and click on it.
3) Near the top of the new pop-out page on the right is the word "More". Click on that, and from the drop-down menu select "Serial Keys". The Wasteland 1 key should be there.

I don't know where it is in Galaxy (probably a similar location).

You were exactly right - in keeping with 'title' I also emailed support, and sure enough. That web browser is the Only way to get the code as you described here, it was described exactly the same in my email response that I recieved. To clarify, you *cannot obtain these codes in Galaxy, according to the email from GOG. Gotta head to the web. Better late than never I always have said, + cudos to GOG staff and their responsiveness. It was nearly immediate. Thank you both. =)
