After beating the game I thought it would be a good idea to make a squad of one veteran ranger and then three new recruits. Well, I made my custom characters first one by one and exported them. Reloaded the game because IRL reasons and when I come back to form my squad none of my custom rangers or my veterans are in the "existing rangers" roster. They're in my character folder but not in-game.

Anyone know of any fixes for this or am I missing some toggle option or config fix here?

Make sure you hit the import button at the end of creating them..it is pretty easy to miss it.

Where exactly is it? I'm sorry if this is so obvious but I'm really tunnel visioning right now. I do see an export button at the end of "create a custom ranger" but no import button anywhere.

I apologize. I meant export. It will save your creations so that you may start a new game with them. If you started playing without exporting them I am not certain that they will be available for another play through.
