Hey everyone I have a bit of an issue.

I've been waiting to play Wasteland for a while and I both have gotten it to work and yet have not gotten it to work...

I've gotten Wasteland to run on my laptop (as expected). It runs an i5 with intergrated graphics at 1366x768 resolution. However, Wasteland does not run on my legacy desktop made specifically for older games. The desktop I'm using runs a Pentium IV (don't laugh!) with an nVidia 8800GS with a resolution of 1024x768.

Any sort of help would be appreciated. When I run the game, a black box appears with a blinking underscore, but then it disappears and nothing loads. I have a few other games from GOG that do this, but they all run on my desktop after this box shows up.

Thanks for the help!

From Known issues

o The game may not run on monitors below resolutions of 1280x720 and will dump to desktop if rejecting your resolution.

Other suggestions are to restart and try different video drivers.
