I'm having trouble assembling the android in the sewers. I have all the parts of the android, but when I try to "use" the android head on the table where it goes, it says nothing happens. Also, for some reason it only lets me do the diagnostics/repair one time and then when I go back to the table I can't do anything. Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm just doing it wrong. Thanks!

The way it's supposed to work is that you run a diagnostic on each station and it tells you what part you need. Install that part and then run the diagnostic again to see if there is anything else required to install. Once everything required is installed, select prep for assembly and move on to the next station.

The head (north most station) must be done last.
I've run into a complete different problem. I am short a part. The leg assembly tells me I still need a servo motor, and there are no more anywhere. I've scoured every inch of the sewers and know I've gotten every one the game offered me. I have ended up with an extra ROM board, but there are no more servos to be found. I don't recall this ever happening when I played it originally.

What's worse is that I tried skipping over it and just doing the Guardian Citadel, and when I rescued Redhawk and took him home to learn about Base Cochise, Base Cochise did not appear on my map. And since I can't assemble Max and learn about Sleeper Base, I can't learn to pilot the helicopter in the Guardian Citadel to fly to Cochise. So I am completely stuck, all because the dam game didn't populate a friggin' servo motor.

i recall getting a servo from an earlier area.
the hotel in the town with ugly's gang
i think it was in housekeeping either from a passive perception check or manually using it on the shelves

Note: my recollections are from the original wasteland i played as a kid
the remaster may or may not have changed this

Dude! Thank you so much! I had totally missed that. I went back and checked, and sure enough, there was a servo motor in that closet. Awesome. I retreived it, and went and plugged it in to fix the knee assembly.

BUT!

The god forsaken pile of donkey droppings immediately told me "the right hip needs work". That's right, it wants ANOTHER servo motor. I'm done. Uninstalling right after I post this, and I'll keep the fond memories from my teenage years.

Thanks for the help anyway!

you welcome
sorry about your frustration

only thing i can think of is maybe some of the servos in the sewers are hidden behind a perception check
but there should have been enough parts in the sewers
since that's the way the level was designed originally

but since you uninstalled i guess its a moot point unless sometime in the future you try the game again
anyways hope your next game gives you less frustrations

Note: if you have Wasteland 1:the original classic there is included a map reset utility included in the install directory
it likely wont do anything for the remastered game
if you find yourself with the same problem in teh classic game
you have the option to do a map reset and collect more parts as needed
Just thought i would include this in case it is of possible use
1. first run diagnostic
-it will tell you the part
2. initiate repairs
-it goes sort of "offline"
3. use spare part with "SPACE"
-after this you can run diagnostic again, initiate repairs and use item with space
