No matter how many times I've tried DTD after tutorial.
System:
i7-11700k
32Gb Ram
RTX 3070

I've changed every setting I can think of and I still crash after the tutorial.
I enter the boat, with goat in tow... I get the "set sail" message and click the check mark to "Leave Board" and dumped to desktop.
No error.
No message.
Nothing.

CrashReportClient.ini
[CrashReportClient]
bHideLogFilesOption=false
bIsAllowedToCloseWithoutSending=true
CrashConfigPurgeDays=2

Have a dozen of those now, all reading the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I came searching for answers. I bought Wartile yesterday and, i got the same issues.
After level 1 it crashes to desktop.

I see this an old topic.

Was the problem resolved for you guys ?
This is the bug of some versions of Unreal Engine 4 or more specifically OpenSSL SHA library being used by it. Happens only on Intel 10th gen and newer CPUs.
Google "openssl sha crash bug" if you want to know more.

Solution:
Open System menu in Settings with Win+Pause.
Select Advanced system settings.
In the new System properties window select Advanced tab and click the Environment Variables button.
In the System variables section click the New button and enter these values:
Variable name: "OPENSSL_ia32cap" (without quotes)
Variable value: ":~0x20000000" (without quotes)
Reboot or sign out/sign in.
