Got the game and love it, but can't get it to run much higher than 30 fps, and that's without turning down the fog. Other settings seem to make no difference. I'm using an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with a Radeon RX 560X GPU and 16g RAM, runs new games fine, so I don't get why an older game like this is running so poorly. On a related note, the game initially would only run on my integrated card, which I initially thought was the cause of the low framerates. Fixed that (somehow) with the DX8 to DX9 converter, but framerates are not noticeably better. Any advice or suggestions?

You can try my unofficial patch at https://steamcommunity.com/groups/WARKC/discussions/0/1319961618834033179 which should fix a problem where the framerate is low while the music is on, or you can just disable the music by setting its volume to 0.
