Can anyone confirm if the game has been updated/patched or otherwise modified to work better on new Windows operating systems when bought from GOG.
I have the game on Steam however there are quite a few issues with the game resolution making it difficult to play.

The Gog version of both WK and WK Battles is the same as the Steam version, with a single difference in the Gog version of the first WK which has a fix to the "unit teleportation glitch" (that Gog fixed themselves using a hex editor). Other than that it's the same.

You can download there an unofficial patch I made which I highly suggest, because not only it fixes the unit teleportation glitch, but also contains other fixes in framerate, music, sight range, widescreen support, etc.
