First of want I to get these points out of the way because I've seen the occasional obnoxious reply attitude towards PC gamers that genuinely request controller support on some PC games.

1. I and more and more PC gamers don't care about the whole "KB/M elitism"

2. I and more and more PC gamers are playing games on PC with controllers because it's just more comfortable chilling on the couch playing on a huge tv.
PC gamers after all are meant to have most of the options.
It's more social, allows for things like local multiplayer and co-op

3. There are some more PC RTS games that have been adding full controller support on PC - Halo 1, Halo Wars 2, Age of Empires Mythology Retold, Iron Hearts and upcoming Empire of the Ants.

4. ** Handheld ** Gaming PCs i.e. playing PC games with a controller
Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion GO, Asys ROG Ally, Ayaneo, MSI Claw etc...are growing in popularity
So it doesn't do well when some new PC games still don't have controller support in the 2020's which defeats the purpose of handheld gaming PCs.

This game Warno looks INCREDIBLE and would LOVE to add it to my list of PC RTS games (those mentioned above), but what has been an increasing deal breaker for me buying PC RTS games is the lack of full controller support.

I have 5 x Handheld gaming PCs with countless games loaded on them from nearly every genre,
easy to pick up and play anywhere any time making it easier to go through game backlogs
, but simply can no longer put a device down, have to connect a keyboard and mouse and plonk it all on a table just to play one game and disconnect it all again when come play a different game.

I hope the devs consider implementing controller support.
It doesn't have to be revolutionary just long as it covers the basics with a wheel menu, it would make PC RTS games more open to console gamers and PC gamers that no longer play with KB/M.

There are quite a few PC RTS games ported to consoles with controllers implemented that can just copy.

Command & Conquers Kane's Wrath and Lord of the rings BMEII on the Xbox360 were great examples with great controller and wheel menu implementation set up.
