This seems like some highly modified version of DLR, it looks soo different compared to the cd version i had from early 2000. any idea where the other multiplayer options is at, such as email play? the menu looks completely different.

I have been playing a couple of games with a friend, using Hamachi and the TCP/IP multiplayer option. Works like a charm.

To play DLR by email, start a single player game and choose either a new scenario or a random map. When you are in the settings, look for 'Email' in the lower right hand section of the menu and click the radial button. That should set up the game as a play by email.

Anyone interested in creating a community for multiplayer?

I suppose the best option is using Hamachi to have virtual networks (TCP/IP)

But for the communucation of the community I would like to see a Discord server.

You could also try warlordsx.com (recreation of warlords II deluxe).

My group has been playing this game online since 1998. You will need to goto warlorders.com in order to have the updated sets/stats/heroes.
