I have no idea how to do the temple gold quest when it comes up...is there a command hidden somewhere that lets you give gold to a temple?

The quest is the same as the easy quest "Some Looting and Pillaging".
You just need to loot the statet amount of gold from capturing cities.

The temple thing is just because all medium quests are "Temple"-flavored.
