I have read all the reviews about both WL1/WL2 and WL3. However here on the forum I see alot of complaints. So I would like to know if, apart being worth buying, these games work.

I had ZERO problems. The game WL3 works flowlessly on my ALIENWARE 13 Laptop.

My System is 5 years old. WL3 doesn´t start. I tried everything. Waste of money.

It works fine on my i7-6820HQ laptop. I have played several random maps and parts of bane wars campaign and had zero issues. Not even once the game crashed.

So it's woth buyng?

If you like turn-base strategies then absolutely.

The thing about Warlords series is that even though the gameplay make look simple (compared to let's say HoMM series) it has plenty of depth. It may not feel that way initially, but once you play against Warlords on Psycho difficulty you will know what I mean.

Finally, it takes less time to finish a scenario or campaign than in HoMM, which to me is a big plus since I don't have as much time as I did when I was young.

Warlords 3 : DLR works flawlessly on my system.

All of the fan-created options...new heroes, armies, spells, Molotov's Ultimate editor etc. work perfectly.

Warlords 2 Deluxe seems to work as well but I don't play that so...

Warlords III worked fine for me on Win10, but obviously you won't really know for sure without trying. I believe you should be able to get refund if it turns out to be broken, although I have no practical experience with GOG refund system so no idea how easy or hard it is.
