When I try to install the game it gets to 91% then fails. The message I get is: Installation error (E4) Disk access error accorded during installation.

I have over 200 Gb free and the game only takes 5 Gb.

I have uninstalled and tried several times.

I have tried installing a different GOG game without error.

I have tried manual installation.

Manual installation does not register with GOG Galaxy. Does not launch the game when you click the launch button upon completion of manual installation. It did not create the desktop icon when I selected for it to do so. When searching the folder I cannot find the game's executable file.

If anyone has any ideas I am all ears.

Edit: This is for Warlords.

Sadly, i have no solution, but can confirm the existence of this error. I have exactly the same one here. Anything else , including the other warlords games, install and work just fine except the original Warlords 1 .

I had a similar problem, it wouldn't install via gog galaxy. But I managed to get it to run when i installed it with the offline installer. However, pressing launch then launched gog galaxy and i was initially worried the same would happen again. But it didn't and it synced it to galaxy ok. Now i can launch from gog galaxy without any issues it's working normally for me. Windows 10 64 user.
