Here's my contribution to the massive pool of crashing complaints...

WBC2 (& 3) were my childhood, and i'd love to be able to play these games again; no other RTS game compares to these, or gets close to scratching the itch for a good RTS/RPG experience.

My game loves to close - just suddenly - after playing for an amount of time. Menus are fine, resolution doesn't seem to be the issue(?), and i've tried using different compatibility modes. Anyone got any suggestions?

(Also WBC3 - although more stable - loves to crash on me too.)

I got something like this...
Started when changed my system from win 7 to win 10.

I searched a little and turns out i maybe got a solution!
Calm down guys i am not sure it works 100% but i made this and it stopped from crashing and i managed to complete my campagin mission sooo yeah i am pretty happy about that.

Okay solution for (win 10):

1. Right click start button we choose "Programs and Features" (aplikacje i funkcje).
2. We need to click "programs and functions" scroll down a little it shoud be on the bottom or right up corner.
3. "Turn windows features on/off" this is a button with this little windows shield.
4. We look for an option "Legacy Components" and we check DIRECT PLAY.

It is all about direct play function in windows it helps with some older games sooo yeah ...
look for a youtube video type direct play win 10 if you dont understand this chaotic tutorial :)
