Hi. I joined GoG yesterday just because I wanted to re-play this game.
However I've had nothing but problem with it, and I find it sad that gog hasnt optimized it before selling it to customers with newer hardware and operating systems of nowadays.

I can get it to start but in the menu there is no music at all, I dont mind it that much but just a little thing.
Sometime when I start the game up it just freezes on the menu and I cant even move the cursor, so I have to restart the game. However not too bad, just restart the game enough times and it will run.

However while in gameplay, I've not been able to have a single full game played without the game freezing.
This seems to happen completely at random and it doenst fix it self so I need to close the game down.

Is there any fix to this problem or did I just waste my money?
(I run the game in win 2000 mode, but it doesnt seem to matter, really)

I haven't actually installed the GOG version of WBC, but the old disk version used to run fine on my version of vista x64. It sounds like the issues you're having are quite particular to your setup (possibly a driver issue, or some other little thing).

I'd suggest logging a support ticket on this one.
