New Goblin graphics :)
Wow, not bad at all for a small group of modders. It's good to see some people working on such a great rts. The ogre faction in particular is a lot of fun; right up my alley.
Just done an update for this mod as I added a new race Gnolls Get it here
Hello, I just tried your 1035 Mod (version 5) and it didn't really work with the GOG version. I get missing UI graphics and invisible units, so unfortunately it's completely unusable.
The mod works fine on windows 7 - You just have to do this few things. I regularly play the game on Windows 7 on my laptop.

Running the game on Windows 7

Right click on desktop icon
- Troubleshoot Compatability
- Troubleshoot program
-Program ran on an earlier version of windows
-Select Windows XP Service Pack 2

Follow these instructions and the mod will NO LONGER have invisible units.
Its just soooooo old though.

anything new and updated at all???

OK, the mod does actually work using XP compatibility mode. You might wanna add that to the readme.

So I've started an undead necromancer, but the game crashes when bringing up the spellbook after some time has passed ingame. I tried to play a skirmish 3 times and every time it was ended by a crash. (This didn't happen with the standard GOG version.)

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm using the Battlecry1035.exe, and I tried both XP SP2 and SP3 compatibility mode.

Yes , the spell book crash I am working on eliminating it. I can get around it playing with the spells on the F keys. You can pick 8 of your favorite spells and F-key them. The crash doesn't exist on the GOG version because I did the code for the new spheres (Dwarf, Goblin & Light) so there is some little thing that is causing that crash. I have really maxed out the alphabet a bit LOL on the keyboard shortcuts as well.
If you downloaded the Mod before March 03 I did THIS update
to try to rectify the problem. I tested it playing a Goblin Shaman (Chaos Magic) and had no crashes but now reading your post I will load up the mod and play a Necromancer.
I will add the instructions on running in Windows 7 to the read me as you say.
Anyway have some fun with the mod :)
