The versions of Warlords Battlecry 3 being sold by Impulse, and DirectToDrive all have a bug which causes ALL magic item drops in the campaign to be Elven Rings of Greed. They tell you to go to Enlight software for support and Enlight provides none.
Here's hoping that the GOG version has that fixed. I still have it on disc and play all the time but I will gladly buy it again to have a version that doesn't require the disc. All of GOG's games have been great so far in the work properly department so I'm looking forward to it.
So, can GOG.com confirm if the GOG version is free of this bug? It's the only thing I need to know to buy it...

Dear Coala,
Outstanding, now I can buy this great game for the 3rd time and be perfectly happy about it! Great job on all these classics, making them work right on VISTA.
PS... are all Polish ladies so cute or just the ones with furry brown ears?

A) all of them, of course
B) with furry brown ears
C) Thank you :) (blush)
hmmm
I'm not sure which answer is correct, so chose answer C
:D
I had a copy of this from Impulse and it is bugged to hell. Fortunately I got my money back and bought it over here at GOG.com and patched it up - works great!

How did you get your money back, just ask?
I e-mailed Impulse and let them know the game was bugged, and they knew the situation so they refunded me my money.

Err, they acnowledged the game is faulty, refunded you and still sell the game knowing it's faulty. Isn't that fraud?
