When I start a game, the units are invisible. Even through its for WBC2, I hoped that this solution may have applied to WBC3.https://www.gog.com/forum/warlords_battlecry_series/wbc2_linux_tutorial_how_to_run_on_your_linux_lutris_method/?search=linux But It didn't work. So, I am hoping that someone can help me. I have upload my runner options configure. If that helps.

Intel Core i5-10300H

Hello there,
I had the same problems as you, and I also followed the guide you linked to. I had some limited success with it - units and buildings only appeared with the exact same wine version as in that guide (lutris-GE-Proton7-28-x86_64) and with terrible performance.

But then I tried the widescreen mod for Battlecry 3 and it seems to work fine with good performance. You can find the mod on moddb.

Keep in mind that I haven't really tested it properly - just tried loading a skirmish on a random map.

Edit: The only real issue I had so far was when the screen turned black when changing the resolution and display mode (default is windowed). Try your best to find the thumbs up button. :)

Okay. I have download lutris-GE-Proton7-28-x86_64 and applied the widescreen mod and follow the steps in the guide. The game works. But the game is now a small window. I have tried to turn off windowed mode, that didn't do anything. I have tried to change the resolution. But that only change the size of the window and make everything black, except for the text. I am wondering if you know any way to make it full screen?

Ok, I looked into it and there seems to be a better way to change the resolution. The settings are stored in the Documents folder where you installed the game. For me it was /warlords-battlecry-3/drive_c/users/jaro/Documents/Warlords Battlecry III/Settings. In there you edit the Options.json.

To change the resolution to 1080p fullscreen you should change these lines:

"WindowResolutionX": 1920,
"WindowResolutionY": 1080,
"Windowed": false,
It works now. Thank you very much for the help.
