Like many others, I am having the same problem with launching the game. Splash screen and then nothing. Yes, I am aware of the fix that's floating around, but the computer I'm using doesn't have a NVIDIA graphics card. The computer is running on an Intel integrated graphics card (I assume that is what it is). How do I get this game to run?

I'm wondering this too.

Use the dgVoodoo program to get it running. It's not guaranteed that'd it'll work 100% correctly. A misaligned cursor is a problem we've been encountering using this method. If you can figure out how to get the cursor aligned properly, please tell us!

Nope! Just mess around with it until it works.
Same here, it does not even launch with dgvoodoo. Could someone please explain me how to proceed?

I realize that this is an old thread, but for anyone still having this issue, dgVoodoo works if you use the DirectX files located in the MS\x86 folder. I've attached the settings i'm using.

I have found a solution that worked for me. It seems the game was resorting to using my integrated graphics card instead of my Nvidia 3060. I was stuck on how to fix it for a while till I came across this website that helped me fix the problem.

Just google how to set your preferred graphics card that you can access from your display settings. When in that menu you click on "Graphic settings" and then from there you can browse which app to assign the graphics card to.

Basically you follow the steps to apply whichever graphics card you want. It helped me assign the better graphics card and now I can play the game. I didn't see this solution anywhere so I thought to share for anyone else who was having trouble.

The game does not run on integrated graphics units. You need a dedicated graphics card.

This worked for me, NVIDIA RTX 2070

Set discrete graphics card as default
Right-click any blank space on the desktop and choose NVIDIA Control Panel.
Click Manage 3D settings, go to Preferred graphic processor, and select High-Performance NVIDIA processor and then Apply.
game won't launch
GOG pretty shite to date

I have a 10th generation i7
Works fine out of the box on Win7 x64 ultimate and Amd Vega56 gpu.
