I had issues launching the game, it would "APPCRASH" on launch (I'm on a Windows 7 laptop at time of typing)
The obvious solution was to change my dedicated GPU - but that wouldn't save its settings. So the below is the solution I have found.

STEP 1: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GPU
If you don't have a dedicated GPU (i.e. you only have intel integrated graphics) then I don't know how to fix it, perhaps some dgvoodoo2 shananigans can help, but I've not tested them.

STEP 2: IF YOU'RE ON NVIDIA, CLEAR YOUR CACHE
This took me far longer to figure out than I'd like to admit (literal months of on and off fiddling before I found it) make sure hidden folders can be viewed firstly, then go to "C:\ProgramData\Nvidia Corporation" inside this directory will be a "Drs" folder - back up and delete its inner contents (I personally cut and pasted the folder to my desktop)

STEP 3: LAUNCH CONTROL PANEL AND SET "WARHAMMER.EXE" TO DEDICATED GPU
With Nvidia control panel now working and able to save my changes, I can now dedicate the game to run on my GPU without worry of it trying to launch on intel anyway.

And that's how I personally got the game working - so long as this solution helps at least one other person this post was worth it.
Hi, I read your post but I can't find the "Drs" folder you mentioned. I have windows 10.

I'm unfamiliar with Windows 10 - but am doing my best to figure it out right now, I'll keep you two posted if you've not since found the solution. Sorry that it took me so long - I wasn't pinged sooner.

Do either of you have an "Installer2" folder to look inside?

I figured out another work around. In NVIDIA Control Panel, for "Manage 3D Settings" set "Global Settings" to use "High performance NVIDIA Processor". Then play Mark of Chaos. Once you're done and have quit the game you can go back into the control panel, this time under "Manage 3D Settings" click on "Program Settings" then click on "Add" and with the filter "Recently Used" you should find "Warhammer: Mark of Chaos" click on that and then set it to use "High performance NVIDIA Processor". Now you can return your global setting to whatever you want. Done, you can now play whenever you like.
