Is this game like Dawn of War with base building or more like Total War?

it's not like either really, there's no base building, with each mission you have only the units you bring with you or that the mission provides, you dont build units within it.
You get units as either rewards from missions or using the post mission currency to buy and upgrade units between missions.
Far as i remember at least, im trying to get the game working at the moment.

So no skirmish mode then?
