Hi there,

I know that Chaosbane at steam features various languages (text only, which is ok for me).

Are there a possibility to change the language from the GOG-Version?

There is an option to change language if you go from Installed game screen into "Manage instalation -> Configure" (in GOG Galaxy 2.0).

How do I do this for an Offline-Installation? I need german text which should be available. No plans to ever install and use GOG-Galaxy.
Yep, I also don't using the Galaxy Client. I would need also the possibility to change the language to do this without Galaxy.
Sorry then, without gog galaxy I have no idea.
And how do you do it for any other game? Do they provide different downloads or patches that are applied over generic installer?

Normally there is a simple setting inside the game to change the language. Like in Grim Dawn for example, where you download a community translation, copy the file in a directory and select the language ingame.

I will open a support request, lets look what GoG says.

I got an answer from the support. It's very simple:
In the installer you have to select "Options" and there you can change the ingame language.
