There is a additional executable called "Resolution Options.exe" that is missing after installation and verifying the files.
This executable is necessary for enabling >1080p resolutions on 4K displays with DPI scaling enabled.
It is supposed to be installed under: "Warhammer Chaosbane\Exe\ResolutionsOptions.exe"
The installer creates a shortcut under "Start Menu\Programs\Warhammer - Chaosbane [GOG.com]\Tools".
In GOG Galaxy, you can right-click the game > Additional executables > Resolution Options.
However, both these launch methods fail, because the exe file is not there.
