Hey guys,

The game was not running even after installing Direct X 9.0 and DirectPlay in the legacy setting. See this post HERE.

Another soul here recommended using dgVoodoo2 and this solved my problem. I just copied all the x86 dlls from the package right in the installation folder (right next to RoW.exe). So if you are having issues try that.

Thankyou, the dgVoodoo files made it work for me!

For anyone else trying this, all I did was copy the D3d<whatever>.dll and DDraw.dll from "MS\x86" in the dgVoodoo zip file, into the RoW install dir (where row.exe is).

(I'm also using dxWnd, but using that on its own didn't work without also using the dgvoodoo DLL files.)
