They claim the music is remastered from the original, personally I dont recognize it. But I am no audiophile and its good none the less.

Yes, definitely not as mighty & wonderful as you said, but it's still fairly good, especially for a 40k game - which aren't that often a success in my opinion, especially if when considered at their core gameplay, regardless of those elements under licence.

I prefered Krueger's (paper-thin) character and (very decent) voice acting though. As for the those appareances, well, we'll have to agree ^^...

Now, there are indeed remastered parts of the first Chaos Gate in the second one. You can even, now, download, in the "Extra" section of that first title, a small piece called "The Chant", which is part of the second game's OST. But in my opinion, Doyle W. Donehoo's work still remains way inferior to Jim Crew's in 1998. At least if you enjoyed those latin verses of course...
