I was hoping there was somewhere to find the lyrics, and definitions, to the chanting in the soundtrack- can't seem to find any answers by searching.

I don't expect anyone to go rattling off a couple hours listening to and translating the tunes so we can hear the beautiful hate mongering we've all come to love- but damn those songs and the overall mood of the 40k universe just makes me want to summarily execute someone, preferably a heretic but I'll take someone showing a hint of cowardice.

So true, this game really nailed the atmosphere in my mind.

So I finally managed to complete the game (my first WH40K game since I finished Space Crusade on the Amiga - twice). What a journey. On those last missions it all became pretty intense, with your numbers quickly dwindling and the enemy growing stronger. A great game, for sure.
Anyway: I found the soundtrack truly outstanding, so I decided to try my hand at transcribing the lyrics. Alas, many words elude me; my final result is therefore very fragmentary, but it's always better than nothing, I guess, and it could serve as a useful starting point... maybe.
The language, of course, is Latin - well, a strange, corrupt variant of Latin, to be more precise, full of errors and obscure expressions. I'm no expert when it comes to the WH40K universe, but I see this broken Latin is really a part of it.
Here follows what I was able to gather up, with my attempt at translation:

music_combat_1:
"Ultramarini fortiter pugnant" = Ultramarines fight vigorously
"Virtus" = valor

music_combat_2:
"multum periculum, vita ???" = much danger, life ???
"maximus animus" = greatest courage
"magnus animus magnus virtus multum magnum periculum" = great courage, great valor, much great danger

music_combat_3:
"confutatis maledictus / flammis acribus addictus" = once the cursed have been silenced / sentenced to acrid flames
(This is actually a quotation from the "Dies Irae", the sequence from the Catholic Mass for the Dead, although a corrupt one of course - should be "maledictis" and "addictis")

music_combat_4:
"miles fortes" = strong soldiers (should be "milites", or alternatively, "miles fortis" = strong soldier, singular)

music_combat_5:
"paucitatis? Ultramarini" = scarcity of Ultramarines?
"nobilitis? Ultramarini" = nobility of Ultramrines?

music_combat_6:
"Kruger venit et hostis fugerunt" = Kruger came, and enemies fled (recte "hostes")
"venerunt et hostis fugerunt" = they came, and enemies fled
"venutis, fugerunt" = once come, they fled

music_combat_7: I didn't understand anything here, sorry!

music_combat_8:
"Ultramarinus hic custodia" = let the Ultramarine be kept here (or keep guard here?)
"Kruger vult, auri supplitio?" = Kruger wants it, golden torture???
"superarunt hostis potentis" = they defeated a powerful enemy (recte "hostem potentem")
"conservarunt Ultramarinus" = they kept the Ultramarine

"Internum fortes" = strong on the inside?
"fugite semper via" = always go away ?
"crematis procuratis" = burnt???

Huh, this is good stuff! I dont know if its right or wrong but I like it!

Any idae who the composer is?
Somebody should contact him and try to get the original HD CD redbook audio tracks.

I must say, I find the proposed lyrics pretty convincing. Not everything strikes me as right (musics 4, 5 & 8 in particular are still problematic), but I think by and large they hit the mark.
Sources for nos. 7, 9 & 10 are identified correctly; as for the latter, I must say that a great deal of accents are shifted (at least according to mainstream modern pronunciation as I understand it, e. g. "nebùlae" should really be "nèbulae"), which made things very difficult for me (also, should be "maeroris" - just a typing mistake, I think).
