Had the game for a while now. Originally it worked fine on Windows 10.
Recently decided to play it again on a laptop (win10) and have had issues with it. Basically the game refused to launch, without any visible error. (did not check Event Viewer but the errors there are usually cryptic at best)
My recommended steps:
1. Try and run the actual game executable (WH40K.exe) from the game folder. I strongly believe the issue is with trying to run the game from the GOG Galaxy app.
2. If that fails look at the solution here, download and extract the files and try again.

Okay so I tried the last suggestion here last night and no shut it actually worked! 3rd mission now and it’s running strong.
I was a little confused how it was worded to download the file( because I’m not the best with computers) but essentially I just downloaded the file and moved it into the Chaos Gate folder.
Fear not friends CHAOS GATE is Alive on Windows 10 with this persons patch^^^^^
I was pretty sketched out downloading a random file off here but so far it hasn’t had an negative effects on the game of my desktop.
