I read the Manual, nothing there.

Has anyone noticed if Crouching improves accuracy or makes it harder for the enemy to hit?

As I recall, No and Yes. Its easy enough to confirm the accuracy thing. Just site a guy prior to crouching see the acc then crouch and check again. For defense I recall it being a static 20 point increase in cover.
