Anyone got the LAN play to work? I see there are multiplayer configs for dosbox in the game folder but i cannot get it to work.

I simply get "Network driver not found, Load IPX for network play" whenever i try to launch a server on any "Node" I have tried moving IPXwrapper into the folder. (Note i am not new to networking as i work with datacenters but i am a scrub when it comes to dosbox games)

If anyone have any ideas or tips on what i need to do i would love any help as i just wanna relive some memories from modem head to head on WC1

Mind, I can't actually test it since I only have one device, and am stuck behind a triple NAT...
In GOG Galaxy, if you right-click on Warcraft, mouse over "Other" at the bottom of the popup list, and click on "Run Multiplayer Game" a utility pops up that gives you a few options for playing multiplayer.
I'm not sure how to run this without Galaxy, mind.

Check this out: https://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Connectivity

Why spam some unofficial links, if we have official dosbox site+wiki, PCGamingWiki, and GOG Support site DosBox section?
All that info and dosbox wiki link already posted here. Learn to read.

Firstly of all you don't put, install or copy IPXwrapper to a ms-dos platform video game folder like warcraft 1,you simply don't,couse IPXwrapper is windows platform or windows os work software,so you use it only with windows video games to make filtering for lan ipx - to udp protocol only...And secondly emulator(dosbox) on windowses like version vista to 10 that has only udp protocol for lan makes the filtering himself alone successful by default without needing any other work software like(IPXwrapper).
And other in rest, you do in rest exactly like user Szwagiermc told you meaning with emulator (dosbox) and the tunneling network adapter software (hamachi),and see you on the battle field or see you in the game on hamachi network id user called:grup-sf and password called:game.arena.All other forum users(players) are also encouraged to join in multiplayer of the game of Warcraft 1 Orcs and Humans...

tl:dr
i dont read. Ofc you must emulate IPX network inside DOS workspace in DosBox. All instructions already linked here. Hamachi is optional.
And ofc IPXwrapper is for Windows Vista+.
