i just want an answer. it is not really relevant to me as i have 2 cd-keys from the disc version.

No, you get the CD-key when you buy the game.
Also you can use old official war2 with your cd-keys and gog server.

Or you can download unofficial war2combat (working with new windows better than gog) and change cd-key to your to play on GOG server...

i never got a cd-key with my purchase here on gog.

you can use your cd-keys from disc version to play on gog server. You can use them with any war2 you want.

Sure, it is. You will get a cd-key when you buy GOG.

There is, under More -> Serial Keys. If that fails to display anything, contact GOG support.

I don't have the selection "Serial Keys" when I select More.

To access the key, please go to your account (on the website, not in Galaxy), click on the game, then on MORE, and choose SERIAL KEYS.

Разве точно такой же полноценный Личный Кабинет недоступен в GOG Galaxy? Ключ можно посмотреть и там. Не понимаю почему некоторые говорят, что в Galaxy ключа нет. Разве это так?
Я почти не пользуюсь клиентом.

Unfortunately, the serial keys function is accessible only through browsers atm.
