Hello there, as I am an owner of a Roland Sound Canvas, I need to know if this game has MIDI Music.
Because if it hasn't MIDI, I won't buy it. Sorry.

Maybe im wrong, but here is no MIDI, although some mentioning of old DOS versions remains.

Best music quality possible for GameRip (ingame files) - is .cda AudioCD (combo data+audio disc) This is played by default only on native Mac versions of original 1.0 US DOS+MAC 1CD + 1CD addon releases.
(ofc as soundtrack if it have separate AudioCD - it be better quality, eg GTA 1 game)

MIDI is by default for DOS version only. And ignoring nostalgia feelings - this is worst version of game (although original non-expansion DOS version have some unique differences) and music.

Here on GOG there is only native Windows port version, it not contain non MIDI non .cda. For Warcraft 2.

Offtop, not-music related info:
Better version is on Sega Saturn. It have basic features that not implemented not only in later MAC+WIN Bnet Edition but even non in Warcraft 3.
Native Mac release is missing here. Warcraft 1 although have original mac release as cue+bin disk image file in .pkg archive - and such - it have original music in combo AudioCD format. DOS+DosBox for Windows exe build version use MIDI.
