"Warcraft II Batt.net Edition has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program."

Compatability mode has not helped, didn't really expect it to. Haven't seen anyone else with this problem.

You need to disable DEP (or whitelist Warcraft 2) until GoG fixes the game.
