Hi,
I just found my old copy of War Wind 2 but am not able to even install it. Does anyone know how to install and play it on a modern Win 10 64bit OS? I tried compatibility mode and starting it as Administrator but nothing works.

You can't : old version are not made for modern computers. Not only for WW2 but for a lot of games turning under Win 95.

The Installer on CD s only 16bit. You need a 32bit OS to install it or search google for an alternative installer. You can find a few community installers.

Or you can copy the complete folder from 32bit OS installation to your 64bit OS. But if the game has a cd protection, you need also a no cd cr..k because win 10 dont support cd protections anymore. Or you must downgrade to win 8, 7, vista... Or buy the game in gog sale for 1,09€ so I did last weekend.

the installer itself is too old but, the game itself is completely unpacked and usable as is. you just have to manually copy it over, same with war wind 1. you can currently get war wind 1 for free here on gog.
