War Wind 1.
The problem is as follows:

5-10 seconds after starting single player scenario (campaign works fine) the game crashes with error:

"A TERMINAL ERROR has occured
You are trying to play War Wind with 1 people but you only have 0 CDs. To play the game you are required to have 1 CDs.
The game will be terminated."

I must say that I chose "singleplayer" in avaiable scenario options and the only other player is the computer.

I guess War Wind 2 doesn't have this problem?

What? Are you kidding me? You can't play the scenario? One of the coolest feature of the game?

Any way to fix it or is Gog going to fix it in the future?

i have an executable for War Wind with no cd checks so you can play multi and the scenarios. i just checked if it works with the gog version and it does for me. if it's ok with the gog staff, i can make it available.

Also, the *SOLVED* should be removed until it becomes more clear.

I am also interested to know if any fix is on its way, this feature is indeed very important to me (as most of the time im playing with it).

i've sent the file a while ago. they said they'll have a look at it. but with at all the latest releases, i assume fixing war wind is not high priority atm.

I keep checking back repeatedly, hoping that we will get some feedback and an eventual fix for this.

Maybe Smogg should upload his fix to the internet, if GOG is going to do nothing about the problem.

And why is this thread marked solved when the problem is not?
