I'm finding that in both ww1 and 2 that I can save the game fine for a short period ( perhaps 10 - 30 minutes). Unfortunately after playing for a while when trying to save, the game tries to auto "tab out" to save, it fails leaving the game half tabbed out. Alt tabbing to try and reach the save screen does not work. This can be quite frustrating because after playing a mission for over 30 minutes and then finding I can't save means I've just wasted my time.

My second issue, which is only for war wind 2 prevents any sounds playing duing the cutscenes. This isn't game breaking but I certainly would like to hear the audio.

Thanks again for bringing the games to modern computers. I remain hopeful that a solution will the found.

Same frustrating problem here with saving my game. (Win 10/ 64 bit)

To the second: I had the same problem with ww1 and solved this by starting the game in admin mode.

You are right.
Yesterday i started ww2 and had the same two issues as in ww1: Problems with saving and no sound in cutscenes.

One little tip until patching: there is an option "cutscenes with subtitles"
Ok its poor, but better than nothing.
Hi,

I bought WW2 today and I had the same issue about saving.

I put the game in admin mode and compatibility Windows XP. It seems to work, I hope it lasts.
