I was just starting Ep 1 and decided that I'd see if I could up the screen res so I went to the options panel and changed the res to something higher but perfectly in keeping with my monitor and graphics card. I assumed the drop down list was derived from my card and all those displayed were valid options. However, when I okayed the change I got a message saying "Input Not Supported" and since then running Ep1 simply results in audio being heard but a blank screen with that same error message on it. I've looked for an editable game ini file in all the likely places I could think of without luck and even completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game but its still picking up the bad screen res info from somewhere.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

BTW as an experiment I chose the same screen res for Ep 2 and that runs it just fine. I've left Eps 3 & 4 on their defaults.

5 mins after writing the above I thought of a possible solution and it worked!

Seeing as how the other eps still ran ok I mapped out the key strokes I needed to make to change the screen resolution of Ep 2 and then tried doing the same with Ep 1. The trick was to use up and down arrow keys not the mouse.

Worked out as:
3 up arrow strokes
enter
2 down arrows
enter
4 down arrows
enter
and I was finally back to a viewable screen.
